The story line of a game is very important. It can directly affect a games success and how well you enjoy playing it.

The story line in Crysis is quite familiar yet at the same time very unique. Although alien invasions and spaceships are nothing new to the world of stories, some of the details of Crysis are very unique. The effects the spaceship has aswell as how the aliens look and behave are all very unique. My point is, Crysis has a kick ass story line.

The Story
Earth, 2020: A colossal asteroid crashes down to Earth.

(yes, it was 2019, now Crytek is saying 2020)

Global tensions have reached boiling point as the U.S. and North Korea square off in the South China Sea. At stake: a mysterious artifact uncovered by a team of U.S. archeologists.

The North Korean government quickly seizes the area, prompting the U.S. to dispatch an elite team of Special Forces operatives on a rescue mission. During the siege the true nature of the artifact quickly emerges, pointing to the existence of an alien presence on Earth, and ultimately the trigger for a massive-scale alien invasion.

The battle to save Earth begins as the aliens’ flash freeze the tropics into a ghostly-white frozen landscape.

As gamers take up arms against the aliens, they will be outfitted with customizable weapons and a high tech Nanosuit, allowing them to adapt their tactics and abilities to a hostile, ever-changing environment and a mysterious enemy.

they released xbox360 demo in 12th august and soon they will release demo for pc also. unfortunately bioshock demo wont tell us if our computers are ready for crysis becuse crysis needs lots of more computing power to run the game smoothly BECUSE bioshock is in-room game and crysis out-room game.

anyways i'm waiting the demo to test it out. i don't really like the game becuse it seems pretty complicated... not becuse im dumb but i like fast FPS's

I like it, its a bit wierd somtimes, but i'm a grafic whore
Lets see what the demo brings and then maybe buy it

*edit*= I have played the demo and i am i little disappointed.
I thoght it would look a little as crysis (grafics)
The grafics where like doom 3 sometimes, and i also think
the fissics sucks. And the enginge sucks also (unreal)
many things have that "plastic" look over them...

If you want to play it :

Goto: http://chonnom0.filezaru.com/BioShockPCDemo.zip

But to make it speed up you can download if you have a very good connection(T1,cable...) download getbot from below link and after inserting download link press & hold 'G' and then Right-Click repeatedly to make new connections that increase your speed dramatically! http://www.getbot.com/
