Crysis will have four amazing multiplayer modes. Each will require different tactics and play styles. Let me go over a few of the major features which Crysis will have...

Classes: Crysis will support a new class system which will be more customisable and which will allow players freedom of choice. You'll be able to mix and match weapons and abilities so you can play how you want. For example, some may want to be a medic and sniper while others would like to be an engineer while using a rocket launcher.

Componant Damage: Tanks and Jets will no longer rule the battlefield thanks to Crysis and it's componant damage system. In past games, vehicles would simply have 'health' style meters which when empty, would cause the vehicle to explode.

Crysis avoids this by taking a more complex but realistic approach. Let's take a helicoptor for example, shooting it's back rotor will send it into a violent spin and will most likely cause it to crash into the ground. However, like in real-life, helicopters don't always explode when they crash, it depends on how it crashes and where it crashes.

This all new componant damage system will make it more realistic and a lot more fun. It also gives vehicle users a second chance as they won't automatically die when they crash.

Vehicles: All multiplayer modes will have vehicles, but only the 'Power Strugle' mode will support all of them. Vehicles won't be as ruling unlike in many other games where vehicles dominate infantry.

The reason for this is a combination of things, componant damage being one and 'choice' being the other. Infantry can be much more useful and fun than many vehicles (thanks to great weapons and the nano-suit). So jumping in a vehicle will no longer be an automated habit.

Below are descriptions of the four multiplayer game modes...

Tactical Deathmatch
This multiplayer mode is to please those who just enjoy jumping into a server and going crazy. In this mode there are no teams or any main objectives. However there may be player based objectives, but not much is known. The reason this mode and most of the others have the word "Tactical" infront of them, is simply because of all the environmental dynamics as well as the players ability to customize their tools, weapons and suit.

Tactical Team Deathmatch
This is just like the deathmatch but with teams. There may be control points and other objectives but that is unknown at this time.

Power Struggle
This is it, the multiplayer mixup we've been waiting for. This mode takes the best from a hand full of genres and creates something totally unique yet spectacular. Let me explain...

All players start the game on one of two teams with nothing more than a pistol and a basic nano-suit. The two possible teams are the US Delta Force, or the North Korean Army. After you have joined a team with your pistol and basic nano-suit, you have to fight to earn points.

These points do more than just make your name look pretty on the scoreboard. You will use these points to purchase weapons, vehicles and even whole manufacturing plants.

How you earn points is quite interesting as it will depend on what type/rank of player you killed. For example, if you're a noob and you just killed a general, then you will get more points than if he killed you. This helps with balancing so the guy who gets the vehicle first doesn't just own the whole map.

Each game in "Power Struggle" mode can last over 10 hours (5 Crysis days). If buying standard vehicles isn't enough, you can even crossbreed them with alien technology. So you can have an invisible tank or a jeep that has a mounted freeze gun rather than a 50.cal. The combinations are amazing.

You can buy weapons from where you spawn, but you can buy better weapons and vehicles at certain control points of the maps. You can buy items using your prestige points which you can earn doing all sorts of things but mainly by killing enemies. However, when you die you will lose your gun and any of your vehicles, presuming your vehicle exploded when you died.

Forum Rules & Regulations

If You Have any problems about the forums or a member of the forums please Contact the crysiseu Staff Listed Below , Thank you
Vairo/Eddso/Scott6969/BVG/DualFever/XxR3zD3ViLxX Thank you

Failure to follow these rules can result in your posts being moved, locked or deleted, and may result in your posting privileges being removed.

Inappropriate Content
This forum is intended to be usable by people of all ages, to that end posts containing profanity, obscenity, insults, personal attacks, accusations or abusive language will be deleted and can result in a warning or suspension.

Using asterisks (*) or other characters to get around the language filter is still considered profanity, as is using abbreviations that stand for profanity. Post titles, signatures, avatars and other images are subject to the same restrictions as post content. Even if the post content is not objectionable, posts can be deleted if the title violates those rules. If others have posted in reply, and all the replies feature the same offending title, then the entire thread may be removed.

Racial, religious or sexual slurs may result in immediate banning.

No Flaming
This includes any kind of personal attack, flame, targeted harassment or intimidation either by board posts or private messages.

"But he flamed me first!" is NOT an acceptable reason to insult another poster. A flame war is a flame war, and it doesn’t matter who started it. If you have concerns about the treatment you are receiving at the hands of another poster, don’t respond in kind; notify an admin or a moderator of the Boards.

Many arguments cannot be won, and simply end up scrolling all the other posts off the boards. When disagreements resort to "Since you seem to be slow, let me repeat my points for the tenth time..." then it's a sign that the argument is going nowhere, and the thread will be locked. Agree to disagree.

Stay on topic

If you’re posting in the main forum, don’t start talking about your favourite band - we’ve set up different forums so that all the posts in one area are relevant to specific aspects of the game. If you want to talk about the weather or suchlike, use the Off Topic forum.

No spamming
Spamming includes posting the same post multiple times in a forum, repeatedly posting on the same topic in different threads, or posting the same post in multiple forums.

Multiple posts, whether on the same boards or different boards, will be locked or deleted. Posts made to Off Topic do not contribute to your post count, however the rules against spamming apply to that area just as they do any other.

No thread bumping
Posting messages with irrelevant content for the sole purpose of keeping certain posts near the top is called "bumping". This causes other posts to scroll off the page faster than they should, and raises forum traffic unnecessarily.

If you think of something you’d like to add to a post after making it we recommend using the Edit Post button instead of making an additional post. Bumping threads may cause them to be locked, and can result in persistent offenders losing their ability to post.

Abuse of the Report Post system will be subject to the same discipline as abuse of any other system in place on this site.

Personal messages
This message board allows users to send personal messages to one another through an enclosed system. While this means that while no other public user will be able to read the contents of your message all PMs are subject to the same moderation as the rest of the forum.

Sending offensive personal messages to someone through our boards system can be considered harassment or a personal attack, and will be subject to the same discipline as posts made on the regular forums. If you receive a Personal Message and it makes you feel in any way uncomfortable, tell an Admin immediately.

Similarly, personal details (full name, mobile, email address, home address, home phone etc) should not be revealed to anyone.

If you are in any doubt, contact any crysiseu Staff.

Using the .jpg or .gif format for screenshots, rather than the .bmp format, helps reduce the file size, as does limiting animation.

All files and content linked to from the boards are subject to the same content guidelines as those posted directly on the boards.

You are welcome to post screenshots or other pictures within posts, however these should be posted as links rather than full size images which stretch the forum and slow page loading.

Signatures or avatars which are inappropriate for the forum or are the wrong size will be removed. If you immediately replace a signature or avatar which was removed by an admin with the exact same thing your ability to have a signature will be removed.

Multiple Accounts
Each user of these forums is permitted one account only. Multiple accounts belonging to a single user will be removed. Users who create secondary accounts to get around a temporary ban will be banned permanently. If you are having an issue with your “main” account, or wish to contact an admin while serving a temporary ban you may create a secondary account in order to PM the admin directly – if you post on the forum while serving a temporary ban it will become permanent.

Language
As this is the official site for Europe, we require that all posts made to these boards be in English only.
