As stated I declared that ill get Gears Of War 2day, and i got them indeed, excpet for hellgate, at the last minute I backed out (saving money for Crysis SE)... So my impressions are that they both FreakiN ROCK insanely awesomely big timely , GOW is a whole new experience to me, the gore, the creatures, atmosphere, eye candiness, everythin is just INSANEEE AND BIG TIME A+... Not only that but CO-OP and Versus on LAN also added immense gameplay and fun if ur playin with a friend or bro/sis... And i must say as UT3 and other UE3 games, GOW succeed to be extremly optimized running on my amdx2 5600+, 2gb ram @ 800MHZ, 8600GT XXX edition with an average fps of 30+, 1440x900 rez and everythin maxed out, still didn't try DX10 coz i have xp, still it looks awesome with motion blur, textures, bloom, soo many countless things, here are some screenies, *BLOOD* (resized obviously 1440 will stretch the screen for ya'll small screens ) :






I totally reccomend this game, TOTAL KICKASS FPS.

As for COD4 it topped my list of fps war games ontop of MOH: Ariborne, the game is also intense and awesome as GOW in its own way, too excited to tell ya bout COD4 but its a definited must get FPS shooter, intense battles, optimized almost as GOW (maxed at 1440), weapons are awesome, multiplayer adds sooooooo much to the game, about singleplayr still didnt finish it.

Overall i recommended these two FPS's to get, however, get crysis if u had a choice between it and COD4 *obviously *. But get GOW, it is a must

hehe nice to see there are more Cod4 Fans , i have bought it 2 days ago , tried SP and MP both are really amazing i was amazed for sure , the graphics and realism is just unbelievable every single mission in SP brings something new, something what you been waiting for long time if you are FPS Fan. And the Game is really well optimized i run everything maxed out with max res. on my 22inch Belinea monitor and it just rocks!
About GOW haven't tried it yet , but looks like i really must

I have a few questions, what frame rates do you think i could get on GoW?

What internet play is there? Do we have to pay microshaft LIVE Gold?
Do microsoft host all the servers or individual users?

And obviously you could use Hamachi to play LAN type modes across the internet?

GoW looks fun, is it worth it? looks like a potential buy
But im not going to pay microsoft LIVE Gold if they arn't hosting the servers etc. Actually im not going to pay them at all if it can be helped.

Hey srry for not replying soon, just came bak from uni, anywayz as for frame rates I really think u could get 50+ frame rates easily maybe more with 1920rez or somethin like that + DX10 feature, don't worry its extremely optimized and will run smoothly especially with ur specs...

As for internet play ill just put them up

In short, you can create ur own matches in co-op and versus (can have a private match with a friend ), u dont need GOLD LIVE account (only if u want to play with other gold members) to play online for free just go to xbox live and create a silver "member" account to play online with paying any money other than the game itself(didnt try online till now, ma bro rocks ), i think u can with hamachi *seems possible*. Its a 'crazy' worth it.... servers are hosted btw!

Im picking this game up after work! Getting this really to try co-op as crysis doesnt come set with that game mode.
