First PC World gets all up on the soapbox that (until a certain date) the MacBook Pro is the fastest PC the mag had tested, but consider the next step taken: PC World has boldly declared Vista #1 with a bullet in their Biggest Tech Disappointments of 2007. Ok, sure, we get that it’s "disappointments" and not "crappy products" -- the two imply very different things, and it’s hard not to be somewhat disappointed by any product that took the better part of a decade to come out -- but if PC World harshing on Vista this bad doesn’t smack at all of linkbait, well, we don’t know what does. Oh, and here’s that link.

P.S. -Seriously though, can Vista get a break here? We mean, honestly, it ain’t all THAT bad.

we all now that new windows versions takes sometime to start working properly. just a question, wasn't vista supposed to be called Longhorn first?, or did they drop Longhorn and then made a new one?

I have no idea though they do use code words for there OS before they came out and perhaps that was the name of it under code name.

As for MS, they are coming out with another OS in 2010. What should we expect from MS when they outsource all there programing, as usual crappy product.

well theres a lot of this going around. Crysis had tones of good hype before release and im sure some of you can agree if you were looking forward to the MP side of it you were ripped off. 1.1 is good for MP but wont stop the cheaters and buggers up your single player missions. Im very dissapointed myself not with crysis but crytek.

I mean its also wrong to say your dissapointed with Vista because you should say your dissapointed with microsoft for messing it up.

Could agree partially with you, especially with MP, in mean time i think we should give Crytek more time to prove us and to let them come forward with a great improvement! I played Crysis last night after 3 weeks of break and i was thinking by myself '' damn this game has such a potential'' all we need is a technology to run it perfectly and fixes! And those are the things which can be solved only by time, so lets hope for the best.

Have You heard that Vista's successor is set for late 2009 ? Here is the link. Imho another reason to skip Vista. As we know Win 7 will use only little more RAM than XP Well, hope that 7 will become as good as XP, not next dissapointment
